By integrating recycled and upcycled elements—such as structural cardboard tubes and custom biopolymer joints—we pioneer rapid-assembly frameworks optimized for structural longevity and complete design-for-disassembly.
3. Eco-Systemic Architecture & NBS
This research axis treats the built environment as an active, living extension of the natural world. We develop and simulate parametric nature-based solutions (NBS), including climate-responsive building envelopes and bio-receptive textures, that provide microclimatic regulation, optimize thermal performance, and restore biodiversity within urban spaces.
